Update on Starry

After a long hot summer, Starry finally had her heat cycle and we bred her to a beautiful lab named Truman from Spirithawk Labradors. But the breeding didn't take. :-( so sad. I don't know if it was the heat, the spectacular fires that were all around, the newness of breeding or what, but there were no puppies. We had her checked out and she is completely healthy, so we will try again in the spring.

As she is the only offspring from my beloved Skye, it means a lot to me to have the line continue in my service dogs and in my home! Fingers crossed for Starry later.

Sophie agreed to step up with one more litter and we are awaiting conformation of the pregnancy. She's such a good mommy!
