Patience and... success!

Well, I'm still waiting for Starry to start her heat cycle. We're about a month late. Keeping an eye out and trying to be patient. She is being the sweetest thing these days. Although she loves to play and roughhouse with her half brother, Tucker, she has calmed since her second birthday and is polite and sweet as pie to me. We are working on service dog command training to see just how smart this pretty girl is. So that is the patient part.
The success part? I just got a wonderful email from Laura at Paws for Purple Hearts. Little Judy from the last litter is going through her training like the little champ I knew she was. Here she is described - "She is loved by her puppy parents and the Veterans who work with her. The team describes her as a little spark plug because she's very petite, but has a lot of personality, drive, and smarts!'
So happy to hear this. I love to hear that the pups are doing well and succeeding in their service dog training! Warm fuzzies.
Can't wait for my trip to San Diego to see my first graduates in the GoodDog!Autism program! Proud as a dog mom could be! :-)
Stay tuned!
