well, we need to catch up

It's been quite a while since I blogged on this site. The last litter of the fabulous five found their way - 2 to Good Dog! Autism Companions and 1 to Paws for Purple Hearts. My sweet little pink girl went to an extremely loving home where they had just lost their beloved lab. Lab puppies cure all sadness! The last but not least puppy, was a little male I now call Tucker. He is 5 months old already and 45 lbs of jumpy love. Sweet as he can be and eager to learn, I hope to show him to earn a title (something I haven't attempted before). I would like to use him in my breeding program down the line, so he is going to have to prove to me that he is the one I thought he could be!

Sophie is now retired after this last litter. Next up is my Starry girl. She is turning out to be super sweet and beautiful. (but she can't stay away from tutoring - and I use that term loosely- the puppy). Starry and Tucker get into everything together and while Starry is bigger, Tucker always wins the prize. However, Starry does not have any problem with rolling him over and telling him what for. This last few months has been nothing but mud and dirt everywhere! I'm so happy we are headed for Spring!

Starry hasn't gotten a beau picked out yet, but we will probably breed her before the year is out.
