Starting our second week!

These little service dogs are starting their second week of life. They are active and sweet and oh so cute! They have started getting the black pigment in their little feet and toes, and their noses and ears. They are over a pound a piece with a weight difference of 10 oz at this point in time.

You can begin (when they are awake) to see the corners of their eyes relaxing. Soon we will be able to see them and they will hear us and then! pretty soon after that they take their first steps without the belly drag.

They eat about every 2 hours and well, at night I have no idea, because I'm asleep, but Sophie needs her naps during the day. She is doing great and is feeling like her old self already.

Starry is still so curious. She got a good smell of one of the pups today, but she's not allowed in with them. But she is being a good girl and keeps me company at night.
