Week 4

Puppies are 4 weeks old and doing great. They love their mushy food, four times a day. This keeps me really busy as feeding the dogs takes me about an hour each time. It seems that I just figure out how much they need and then they need more. I did the math and the amount of food they are going to need by the time they are 8 weeks old... well, it's a lot!

They are out of the whelping box for short periods of play and getting used to using the puppy pad for peeing. Poo'ing is another matter.Every day is a new challenge!

It is a labor of love to be sure. I can't wait until I can get them outdoors to play on the grass. I hope the weather cooperates!
